The business decisions that Katie has made have helped provide her with enough extra income to raise her three children well. She is hoping to be able to hire a live-in nanny only so that her children can benefit from the extra care. While there is no doubt that Katie has her hands full with raising three children and advancing her success in business, she is also advocating foster care on her social media profiles. She posts to encourage others to take the leap that would change their lives and the lives of children in need. “It takes patience beyond what I feel I sometimes have. It makes me and those who support me angry some days. But encounters/relationships with the children make it worth the hard times. It is my greatest adventure, and I can’t imagine my life without this experience,” Katie explained in an interview with Good Morning America. Fostering and adoption is a selfless choice that can bring nothing but love into the lives of those that may not otherwise be able to experience parenting.
