The Spanish actor Antonio Banderas was born “José Antonio Domínguez Bandera”. Banderas decided to drop his first and third names and add an “s” to Bandera. Banderas is an incredibly successful actor who claimed a Cannes Best Actor Award, and was nominated for countless others, including a couple of Primetime Emmy Awards, an Academy Award, five Golden Globe Awards, and a Tony Award.
