Musician Meshell Ndegeocello, whose debut album “Plantation Lullabies” is really a beautiful piece of music, and if that reflects the love and honesty in her relationship with Rebecca Walker, making it a win-win situation for all. This is a particularly soulful couple with an emphasis on the African American LGBTQ+ experience, both individuals are incredible advocates for the struggles of gay minority people. We should all follow in their example and do better. The realtionship, however, didn’t last, and the two ended their romantic connection years back.
