No other boxer has ever managed to rise as quickly as Spinks did, making him an unparalleled champion in terms of the time that it took him to soar above the competition.

This kick was launched during the 1988 NFC Fog Bowl by Luis Zendejas, the placekicker for the Eagles at the divisional playoff match in Chicago, Illinois where the Bears and the Eagles duked it out. The Soldier Field was draped in a thick foggy blanket throughout the game’s second quarter. This limited the visibility to just roughly 10-20 yards.
