Lori Singer
Lori Singer is best known for her hit role in the 1984 feature film Footloose as well as her role in the hit television series, Fame. Not everyone knows this, but before she started acting Singer actually trained at Julliard as a cellist, and still plays the cello today. Today she is still acting as well as producing, recently having been the executive producer on the documentary Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God.
Bo Derek
Bo Derek’s breakthrough role in the 1979 film 10 propelled her into fame, and the film’s poster – Derek in a swimsuit – also turned her into a seriously popular sex symbol of the era. She still acts in film and television today. Derek has always been incredibly active in her political affiliations, being a massive endorser of both George W. Bush and Barack Obama. She is also an activist for wounded veterans.
