That being said, Delaney had played many related parts, like the one in Live Nude Girls opposite Kin Cattrall, who ironically took the role of Samantha Jones. Molly Ringwald – Betsy’s Wedding Over Pretty Woman
Best known as one of the 1980s most beloved actresses thanks to playing the character of the ‘popular girl’ with parts in Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, and Pretty in Pink, Molly Ringwald’s winning streak ended when she was reluctant to star in Pretty Woman due to moral reasons. Instead, the most famous lady of the night was played by Julia Roberts, who used the part as a stepping stone to becoming the highest-paid actress in Hollywood for many years. Ringwald then appeared in the lesser-known Betsy’s Wedding.
