Regina George makes all other mean high school girls seem timid in comparison. The beautiful queen bee of the fictional high school that she rules was amazingly portrayed by Rachel McAdams. But according to Mark Waters, the film’s director, McAdams tried out for Cady, while Lindsay Lohan wanted the part of George. Waters was impressed with both women’s performances, but ended up swapping them around, making the best decision possible in our opinion. Perhaps in an alternate universe, the roles were reversed.

Norman Reedus instantly became thrilled about 2010’s The Walking Dead after he finished reading the script of the pilot episode. After his audition for the part of Merle Dixon, which would end up going to Michael Rooker, Norman’s performance was good enough to warrant the creation of a whole new character. Reedus was then virtually handed creative control of the character, becoming one of the most complex and emotive characters in television today. We love you, Daryl!
