Polishing the Microwave
Your microwave will handle multiple meals every week, so it comes as no surprise if it starts looking a bit grubby (as well as smelling funny) over time. Take a kitchen sponge coated generously with bicarb and go to work on the inside of your microwave. It’s then time to vigorously clean the appliance out with warm water. Microwaves are notoriously filthy appliances that sadly get neglected in the general kitchen cleaning process.
Reclaiming Your Hairbrush
Look closely at your hairbrush – it’s probably looking a bit yucky, clogged with hair and products, right? Give it a bath in heated water with a teaspoon’s worth of baking soda to boot, then wash carefully and leave to dry. You will be amazed at how silky and smooth your hair is after using your bicarb-treated hairbrush, and will not have to suffer through painful and fussy untangling any longer.
