This was not the first time that Domino’s employees had delivered more than what they were expected to do, and there were many stories of branches growing close to their most loyal customers. This was, however, the first time that it had led to the prevention of loss of life, which was an amazing accomplishment by anyone’s standards.

For the team at this particular branch, life continued after the incident. They were widely considered to be modern-day heroes, but manager Sarah Fuller downplayed this, stating that everyone was just doing their jobs, and looking out for someone who they all cared about greatly due to interactions at the store over the years.
