Neil Patrick Harris As Carl Jenkins
While there were a number of lesser-known performers in the Starship Troopers ensemble, Neil Patrick Harris was already a well-known actor by the time he took on the role of Carl Jenkins in the film. You’re most likely familiar with him from the television series Doogie Howser, in which he played the eponymous and endearing character. His roles in Starship Troopers was that of an initially cheerful and easygoing teenager with psychic abilities who eventually develops into a stern and strong Military Intelligence member. Jenkins utilizes his psychic abilities to track out the location of the Brain Bug in the last part of the film.
