While Tami-Adrian George had a strong performance in the sci-fi movie, she would leave the industry not long after completing the project. George has only made a few more appearances since her role as Djana’D was cast in the show. Both Michelle’s High School Reunion and Romy were successful box-office hits, and she appeared in both of those films. Many reviewers were taken aback by George’s decision to leave the performing world; they saw her as a gifted actress who appeared to be on the cusp of a successful career. George eventually married Eric Bruskotter, the actor who portrayed the character whom Djana’D inadvertently murdered in Starship Troopers, in yet another ironic turn of events!

Clancy Brown As Sergeant Zim
Known for his gruff and masculine acting style, Clancy Brown has a long history of playing military officers, villains, and political figures. He’s a big, burly guy with a serious expression on his face, and has a deep voice – all of which make him an excellent choice for the drill instructor job in Starship Troopers’ boot camp as Commander Zim. He’s excellent. When he finally caught the king bug, Zim proved to be a huge hero in the blockbuster, despite his initial unlikability.
