Sarah Silverman is always known for her jokes, but when she made known her jokes about getting married, she was serious. She has made her opinions known about going down the aisle and saying “I Do” and even taking on the name of “Mrs.” one day. For her, a long term relationship is more satisfying as she sees marriage as an issue. Silverman has declared marriage terrible and barbaric and notes she can’t understand why she would want the government in her business. However, she added before anyone takes her on about her comments, it is just her personal view, and she is more than happy to see others get married. But, it is just one of those life activities she won’t be a part of.

Despite never having married, Roberts has been in a relationship for 14 years with Amber Laign. The two live in their own homes, and any rumors that circulated the possibility of their marriage were quickly quashed by Roberts after a 2014 suggestion by the National Inquirer.
