It’s the dream of many and there really are those living this simple existence. But some people feel cheated, pointing out that many on the cast are not being honest.

The producers on some of these History Channel reality shows are known to stage so many things on the shows; including the items to the experts; but did you realize that even some of the casual conversations you see have alwso been set up.

In most cases, the seller is found beforehand and then a setup meeting is made between the sellers and the experts to appear on camera. So Rick, for example, has plenty of time to study the item and be ready to chat with whichever expert is on their way.
