In April 2014, the R&B star Monifah Carter (also one of the few African American gay people on reality TV) and her long-term partner Terez Mychelle got married, saying that they are more in love than ever. We hope to see more progressive types of reality television in the near future that are more inclusive of LGBTQ+ individuals. Perhaps even an entire reality television show completely revolving around LGBTQ+ people and their relationships.

Nico Tortorella, star of Younger and The Following, self-describes as pansexual, married partner, a lifestyle and fitness entrepreneur, Bethany Meyers, who identifies as gay, at a New York courthouse in March 2018, 12 years after they started dating. If that isn’t enough to show these two have something special together, they shared photos of themselves on social media, looking quite fabulous in gender fluid white outifts.
