The USA is home to some of the greatest country singers in history. Join us as we look back at some of the biggest names in the business, and see where they are today! Of course, the United States can’t take all the credit, so while most singers on this list are American, there might be a couple of names you recognize from outside of the Red, White, and Blue. Let’s get right into the music.

Wynonna Judd

Judd got started in country music thanks to her mother Naomi. The mother-daughter duo got started in the early 80s and has been a household name ever since. Their debut album saw 14 singles at number one on the charts, ensuring that they made a grand entrance. While the duo eventually ended, Judd kept singing on her own. Her latest album was released in 2016, after a short appearance on Dancing with the Stars.

Keith Urban

Keith Urban is the very picture of an American countryman, which is why many are surprised to learn that he’s originally from down in New Zealand. He made a big splash in the USA and went on to judge shows such as Voice and American Idol. More recently, in 2016, he set out on a tour called Rhythm and Roots to promote his brand new single, Blue Ain’t Your Color. Who would have thought it?
