Yao Ming – 7’6”
One does not expect a Chinese basketball play to be over 7 feet tall! Yao measures a staggering 7’6” and it is not surprising that the NBA snapped him up. He is the tallest player in the NBA and made the playoffs 4 times. He is well remembered as the player who took the Houston Rockets through the initial series in 2009. Many were sad when he announced he was retiring as he could not bounce back from a lingering foot trauma. The damage had resulted in him missing hundreds of games in his last seasons.

Jan is not only a towering athlete but is very well built as well and it is all down to his great genes. The Czech player took his team to the semi-finals of Euro 2004. He counts iconic soccer players Pavel Nedved and Milan Baros amongst his fellow beloved top-star players.
