This mid-2010s picture, like so many others on our listing, is about a WWII incident, but from the point of view of the many British people and its forces who got affected by the conflicts. The movie followed the life of a man who many considered to be the very first computer expert who was an overall savant in many subjects.

In terms of historical accuracy, the events depicted in the movie are fairly accurate. Nevertheless, there seem to be certain inconsistencies in Turing’s persona — he is represented as socially awkward, although in truth, he really had no problem relating and socializing with other people.

Receiving a whole era in history dedicated after you signify you’ve left a significant mark on history. Only a few persons have received this honor, including the famous Queen Elizabeth I. This isn’t surprising, given her outspoken stance against patriarchy present in the society as a whole during her time.

It would probably be justified in people’s skepticism, believing that the discussions could not possibly be factually correct. However, regarding all the other aspects of the film, from pieces of information to practices and culture, to wardrobe and props, the production crew was on the dot when nailing all of these details.
