Alien 3 (1992)

The third release of the Alien franchise didn’t do as well as it should have as it went through a lengthy pre-production period. Being an alone woman in prison colony Fury 161, not only did she have to face a hungry xenomorph, but she also had to deal with misogynistic inmates. David Fincher was hit with a struggle from the get-go and this situation labeled this release as the worst Alien release yet.
Why You Should Watch: You will want to experience the mythology of the xenomorph’s expansion. You will love the idea behind the film amidst what happened in the early stage.

Dark City (1998)

This film was set in a distant dystopia as he featured Rufus Sewell, who played the role of John Murdoch. He somehow woke up in a room with a corpse and had no idea as to how he got there. Possibly it had something to do with those strange pale, Fedora-wearing chaps who only surface at nights. Director Alex Proyas did a great job with magically creating a world featuring darkness interwoven into a creepy horror setting. The poster art gave a lot away for the movie but it is a unique creation.
Why You Should Watch: This film could pass off for a great twist of The Matrix as it is a bit dirtier and grittier.
