Airplane Phobia
Anna suffers from a common phobia, that of flying. She was repelled by the thought of walking into an airplane so strongly that whenever she did plan a holiday, she made sure that it was always a local destination. This was something that Terry had tolerated for years, but at this stage in their relationship, he was adamant that she should overcome her fears. Terry was starting to become desperate for an overseas getaway.

Anna was not interested in his travel suggestions, however, and their plans would sadly remain within Australia. They did reach a middle ground, however, as Anna agreed to travel far beyond their usual destinations. This would take them on quite an adventurous tour of the more far-flung parts of Australia that they were unfamiliar with. Terry might not have succeeded in convincing Anna to book a plane ticket with him, but at least he was going on a proper adventure.
