The couple landed safely in Scotland and their beautiful holiday began. Terry was still incredibly busy, unbeknownst to Anna, however. He was struggling to find the perfect opportunity to sneak whatever was inside the pendant out. Finally, when Anna was distracted for a good while, Terry finally acted. Even men’s best-laid plans often go awry, however, and one of life’s worst moments is when our greatest fears come to be.

Nearly 2 years had passed since that first anniversary where Terry had handed Anna her treasured gift. Terry had finally come to the point where he was ready to take his plan’s destiny to the next step and take the mystery object out. But there was one fatal flaw in his plan that he had not considered: Anna and the necklace were inseparable. He was struggling to find a reason to convince her to take it off.
