Susan Boyle has a slightly modern-day Cinderella tale. Bullied as a child, the Scottish singer was told she was deprived of oxygen during birth which resulted in learning difficulties, and it was only in 2012-2013 that she was told this was a misdiagnosis and she has Asperger’s Syndrome. Susan made it big-time when she came second place in Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, before which she worked in a kitchen.
