The first school in this competition to create No. 1 NFL draft pick, in any event, is Mississippi. In the 2004 NFL Draft, Rebels quarterback Eli Manning (see image) was chosen in the best position by the San Diego Chargers and afterward, obviously, was in short duration swapped by Philip Rivers, who’d been overall chosen fourth by the New York Giants. Manning finished his 16-year vocation with the Giants as a double-cross Super Bowl champ and the most generously compensated professional worker in NFL history.
