Apparently, parents Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon say they actually had hopes that their daughter, Sosie, would not follow in their acting career footsteps, though father Kevin actually directed the film she first acted in, Loverboy, when she was just 10 years old. Sosie continued acting, starring alongside her mother in The Closer, the hit US TV show. Sosie studied at Brown University, and then went on to study musical theater with the CAP21 Company.
