Touring in Vain?
Most musicians will agree that as a starter, it is not the easiest thing to become a popular figure among listeners, and Roy Rogers knew exactly how this felt. During his times with O-Bar-O-Cowboys, his dream was to make it big, but in reality, it didn’t achieve much for him.
Of course, they got a little popular among their local people and performed on some radio stations, but as it relates to earning substantially – that was a turn-down. They made nothing from their tours as people couldn’t afford to pay them big because of a recession.

Silent Romance
Roy’s love interest, especially with Arlene, was not a public show as they didn’t come out with the passion of love and romance. Instead, they kept it low-key and let it blossomed.
Like most other people who believe having an extravagant wedding means everything, Roy and Arlene thought otherwise. Their wedding was held in the living room of Arlene’s parents’ house, and it didn’t matter to them but more the love and passion for each other.
