The sisters had to investigate this job for themselves, as Joyce seemed rather reluctant at first to sell her home. She struggled to give the sisters a straight answer to any of their pressing questions. They were not being particularly invasive either, this was just standard procedure for the successful listing of a home. Carla was rather taken back, as she was so used to her grandmother and elderly people in general who are hard of hearing, but not 96-year-old Joyce, who was comprehensive and could hold a decent, full conversation.
