SIDNEY POITIER, 93 YEARS OLD
Sidney Poitier has earned himself quite a name as a Hollywood actor, having made history as the first black American actor to win an Oscar, as well as his many critically acclaimed performances. One such performance was in the film Lilies of the Field, which also earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor, and in 1974 he received a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II. Other than acting, Poitier has also dipped his very talented toe in the fields of producing and directing.

Carl Reiner is a man of many talents, and a legend in American comedy, he has built up quite a resume in acting, singing, directing, and writing. Having worked alongside Mel Brooks and Dick Van Dyke, and most recently as Saul in the Blockbuster Ocean’s Eleven films. Over the years he has earned himself nine Emmy Awards, three as an actor, four as a writer, and two as a producer, as well as a Grammy Award. He is also a lifelong Democrat, and during the 2016 US Presidential Race, he was an outspoken supporter of Bernie Sanders. Reiner remains active in the entertainment industry and long may that continue!
