Kim Basinger
Kim Basinger started out as a model, offered a contract on the spot by Ford Models, and became a top model during the 1970’s – by the time she was 20 she was earning $1000 a day! In 1976 Kim decided to take on Hollywood and began appearing in series like Charlie’s Angels, and landed the role of the Bond Girl in Never Say Never Again (1983). In 1997, Kim earned herself an Oscar for her performance in L.A. Confidential, the film noir classic. Kim is still acting today, and we look forward to hearing what is next for her!
Billie Jean King
Billie Jean King is the sports legend who became famous after winning the tennis match against Bobby Riggs in 1973, which became known as “The Battle of the Sexes”, an event so important that a film was made about it starring Emma Stone as Billie. Billie was an avid advocate for gender equality, getting big companies to sponsor female sports. In 1987 she was introduced to the International Tennis Hall of Fame, and was also the first prominent athlete to come out as gay in 1981.
