Ali MacGraw started appearing on screens in commercials until she got the role of Jenny in Love Story opposite Ryan O’Neal, who she recently reunited with on the stage production of Love Letters. She was a fantastically adored actress whose iconic performance in Love Story in particular was one of the most tear-jerking and sentimental. We love that she continues to dazzle people to this day, and we wish her the best for her remaining roles.

Susan Anton is well known for her modeling in the 1970s for the Muriel cigar commercials, and she then had quite a number of appearances on a variety of Merv Griffin shows, and even got a variety series that she hosted with Mel Tillis – regrettably, the show only lasted one month. TIME even named her as one of the “Most Promising Faces in 1979”. And what a promise that turned out to be!
