Ooh, this looks like the moment when you thought you had it… but you didn’t. There’s always next time. Fumbling for a ball awkwardly is nothing new to volleyball players, but this instance is incredibly touch and go. The lads do not have their eyes on the ball, a fatal mistake. Hopefully their padded kneed caught the ball and launched it over the net. This game must be murder on the knees!

Maybe this table tennis player forgot where he was. Perhaps he was under the impression that he was taking swimming lessons! Keep your head in the game! Now, this is what we meant by keeping your eye on the ball. This laser-focused concentration and precision, matched with the odd but no less impressive stance, certainly resulted in a winning strike. If not, then at least we all got a good laugh out of this one.
