Gal Gadot
Gal Gadot, an Israeli who began modeling and acting to pay for her studies, has been an international hot conversation topic since she had her breakthrough role in Wonder Woman in 2017. Gadot was a combat instructor during her national service in Israel, then went on to study Law and International Relations at university. While she was a student she worked on her modeling career to help finance her studies and actually won the Miss Israel competition in 2004. She and her husband, Yaron Varsano, have two children together.

Since we are on the subject of wonder women, Lynda Carter is the actress who played the original Wonder Woman in the television series between 1975 and 1979. American actress, singer, songwriter, and model (she won the title of Miss World United States in 1972!), is also a proud and passionate LGBTQ rights activist. She was the Grand Marshal for both the New York and Phoenix Pride Parades in 2011.
