Broken Promises
Tracey and Rick had both agreed (under Tracey’s command, of course) that his mother’s invitation had been withdrawn. Rick had then claimed to follow her instruction, but Tracey soon came to realize that her man had failed to deliver on his promise. Rick had now reached a point in the two women’s conflict where he had to pick a side, without any ambiguity or diplomacy. It really seemed like their relationship was now on the rocks!
