Tracey was under the impression that Gina would criticize any wedding plan that the couple entertained. She was a stubborn and negative woman that could not see any good in anything that Tracey put forwards. Eventually, it was apparent that the two women did not see eye to eye. While it was regrettable that the two women were in constant disagreement, Tracey described how Gina was never particularly fond of her.

“She’s polite and very ‘fake’ friendly,” Tracey wrote regarding Gina’s courteous yet insincerely warm regard for her future daughter-in-law. Tracey would have much preferred if Gina was openly hostile to her, rather than the sickeningly sweet prentenses. Such friction seemed to be more serious than just incompatibility.
