Their First Meeting
Mark and Sara were initially introduced when a mutual friend invited them both to come hang out at an old abandoned warehouse during the university holidays. The spot was popular in Pawnee because it was usually under the radar of the authorities, which meant that young people could make as much noise as they wanted to without drawing too much attention to themselves. It was at one of these parties that the pair first laid eyes on each other.

Not The Most Romantic Place
The warehouse had a lot of squatters in some of the darker corners, which meant that it wasn’t the friendliest and most welcoming place for anybody to visit. Young people tend to like riskier behavior, and in a way this is a quality that brought Sara and Mark together in the first place. Little did she know that his riskier behavior would land him in a lot of trouble during the course of his life, with her having to pick up the pieces from some of his bad decisions along the way.
