Katie Holmes – Mad Money Over The Dark Knight And The Dark Knight Rises

Christopher Nolan injected a respectable and much-needed revolution in the comic book film genre with the 2005 release of Batman Begins. The sequels to the dark trilogy were all incredibly celebrated, making it a leading installment in the field. Rachel Dawes is Bruce Wayne’s love interest throughout the trilogy, a character that was initially played by Katie Holmes in Batman Begins. Once Holmes wrapped up the first installment in the trilogy, her allegiances shifted to the critically panned Mad Money. Maggie Gyllenhaal then took over as Rachel Dawes.

Marylin Monroe – The Misfits Over Breakfast At Tiffany’s

Truman Capote was the author of the novel that would later become one of classic Hollywood’s most successful and iconic films, and the soft-spoken writer penned Holly Golightly’s character for Marylin Monroe. When Monroe was offered the part, her agent convinced her to turn it down when they realized what the film’s protagonist was involved with. The blonde legend then turned her attention to The Misfits, which Arthur Miller wrote and directed, who also happened to be her husband. The film was a disaster, with a fatally bad script that allegedly drove the pair to divorce.
