The Surprisingly Virtuous Tom Felton
Tom Felton played the sadistic and snooty Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, a character obsessed with making the wizard hero’s life as difficult as possible. Felton did not mean to be such a bratty character, however, as he had heroic designs in mind… Indeed, Felton auditioned for the parts of both Ron Weasley and Harry Potter. The young actor was hurt that he did not take the good guy cut, but he did say that other actors could not have done better jobs than Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliff did.
The Dark Knight’s Batman And The Joker Were Nearly Reversed
Even if you don’t agree that The Dark Knight is the best superhero film to be produced, you certainly have very high regard for it. Especially when you consider how amazingly Heath Ledger and Christian Bale’s performances were. That being said, the Joker’s actor, Heath Ledger, wished for the part of Batman. Despite Bale eventually putting on the horned mask, the late Ledger would deliver the performance of a lifetime when he put on the grizzly clown makeup, being awarded an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
