After this sci-fi movie, Norris had a long and fruitful acting career as a police officer. It’s as if he was once a cop himself. T Total Recall, Lethal Weapon 2, and The Terminator 2, franchises have all included him. Obviously, Norris is best known for his role as DEA agent Hank Schrader on AMC’s Breaking Bad, a show that has become an international phenomenon. He became somewhat of a meme since he was among the show’s outstanding characters in the eyes of the viewers. Norris has appeared on The Big Bang Theory and CSI as a guest star.

Robert David Hall As The Recruiting Sergeant
A darkly comic performance by Robert David Hall as “The Recruiting Sergeant” was one of the numerous darkly funny performances in the film. It was Hall’s character, a weird and starry-eyed military officer with a mechanical prosthetic limb and leg, who had to be passed through before the soldiers from the Starship Troopers could ever set foot in boot camp. With his gruesome (if not funny) injuries, he demonstrates to the new recruits what they are in for when they join the army. Hall expressed his appreciation for the comic infusion that he supplied to what was otherwise a dreary movie experience.
