Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel met once again in 1983 during the auditions for Swing Shift. Despite the time apart, Russel admitted that even though he was beyond smitten, he had also never been quite so sure about how to go about approaching her. “Man, you’ve got a great figure,” was the pick-up line he settled for, believe it or not. This would certainly not fly in today’s politically correct world!

A Memorable Date
Who could’ve guessed that his cheesy pick-up line actually worked? The pair enjoyed a movie together and later they went swing dancing for their second date. It must have been a wonderful time considering once they left, they headed off to Goldie’s place together. Apparently, upon arrival, she had no idea where her key was and the pair eventually decided they would have to break in! Much to their surprise, police believed they were actual intruders. We can only imagine what a memorable date it must have been as a result!
