AMC Pacer
When the AMC Pacer first came out in 1975, it was described in the press as ‘bold’, ‘unique’, and ‘futuristic’. And as a response to the 1970s gasoline crisis, AMC actually manufactured an electric version of the same model. But frankly, all we see when we look at this car is ugly.
Renault Fuego
During the 1930s some of the most remarkable classics came from the French, but by the early 1980s, it seemed to be clear that the French had lost their touch when it came to classic design. The Renault Fuego seems to have been a bad attempt at a sports coupe. The more you look at this one, the uglier it seems.
