CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER, 88 YEARS OLD

Here is the second favorite star of The Sound of Music, the Canadian actor Christopher Plummer who played Captain Von Trapp in the smash blockbuster film. Plummer has an astounding track record for critically acclaimed theatre performances, and is thought to be the premier Shakespearean actor in the 20th century to have come out of North America. Plummer became the oldest actor to receive an Oscar, for the 2010 film Beginners, and this fabulous actor is still going strong, recently nominated for another Academy Award for the film All the Money in the World.

BERNNADETTE STANIS, 64 YEARS OLD

Bernadette Stanis made a name for herself during the 1970s with her character Thelma Ann in the hit CBS show Good Times, her sophistication and grace making her the epitome of black beauty in that era. Stanis later went on to appear to TV shows like The Cosby Show, The Parent Hood, and The Love Boat, and while still occasionally making guest appearances in various projects, she has mostly retired from the big screen to focus on her family. In 2006 she also released a book, BernNadette Stanis Situations 101, displayed her talents as a writer too.
