Tippi Hedren is unforgettable for her role in the Alfred Hitchcock film The Birds, and although she has made a number of appearances in various projects, she has generally been retired from the industry for quite a while. Hedren is also well-known for being the matriarch of a number of other successful entertainers, as she is the mother of Melanie Griffith, and the grandmother of Dakota Johnson and Stella Banderas. Today she spends her time fundraising for a number of charities and is predominately concerned with wildlife preservation.
