Loretta Swit made an impression with her performance in hit TV series M.A.S.H, as nurse Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan. This is one of the most iconic roles in sitcom history, and Swit played her part with as much hilarious wit and attitude as possible. Once the show finished, to fans’ great misery, Swit did a bit more acting but today she runs her own jewelry line and does fundraising for animal rights charities.

Since then she has continued acting and featured in some big films such as Waterworld, and today has a central role in the long-running hit crime series Criminal Minds. We loved her part in Waterworld, one of the most ambitious and expensive flops of all time. The sci-fi dystopian adventure film was incredibly charming and endearing.
