Seven years into their courtship, the pair was on the way to welcoming their second child into the world. This seemed as good a time as ever to tie the knot, in order to formalize the family unit once and for all. Sara had some ulterior motives when she agreed to the wedding. She hoped that it would encourage some of his friends and family to attend, so she could meet them after all this time.

As it turned out, only Mark’s friends showed up to the wedding after all. Not a single member of his family attended the ceremony, and Sara wasn’t the only person who thought that this was strange. Her parents also commented on the fact that it was very odd. Everyone put the issue to bed for the night, in order to enjoy the celebrations, but Sara was not going to let go of the feeling anytime soon.
