Eric’s Story
As it turns out, Mark’s twin brother Eric had lost a finger during a lawnmower accident in their childhood. Even if this was the case, Sara was still curious about why Mark never spoke about him, or the rest of his original family. Eric hadn’t even been invited to their wedding! When the real reason why was revealed to Sara, she understood why Mark had kept his brother a secret from her over all the years they have been together.

Eric The Troublemaker
Mark explained that Eric had always been the troublemaker in the family, and often the pair of them would land in hot water for their antics. Mark had tried to distance himself from Eric in an attempt not to be negatively influenced by him. He also didn’t want his children to be impacted by a volatile and difficult uncle. It was a tough decision, but he was looking out for his family at the end of the day.
