Concerned About Their Meeting
Sara’s parents didn’t voice this outwardly to the couple, but they did speak privately about their concerns for the fact that they met at a warehouse party. Mark could have come from anywhere, and for all Sara knew, he could have been living in the warehouse at that time. There were still so many questions after the first meeting, which left Sara’s parents worried for their child and the decision she was making to make a commitment to Mark.

Moving In
In spite of these concerns, it wasn’t long until Sara and Mark agreed that they wanted to live together. In order to save a bit of money, they asked Sara’s parents if they could stay with them for a little while. Sara’s folks reluctantly agreed, giving them a timeframe for how long they could be there before they had to find their own place. Everyone grew very close during this time, which was somewhat surprising to Sara’s parents.
