Mark would eventually end up staying with the family for the next couple of years, as he finished a diploma in photography. As a graduation gift, Sara’s parents bought him a brand new camera to help him get started on his career. Surprisingly, he quickly found quite a bit of work as a freelance photographer, and soon he had a string of good reviews online that brought in even more work than he had initially imagined.

Getting Their Own Apartment
As the couple’s income grew, so did their desire to get an apartment of their own. They were able to make a substantial downpayment on an apartment of their own, setting them up for a bright future together. Everything seemed to be going according to plan, but there were some signs of trouble in paradise. Things had moved very quickly, and Sara’s parents still had their doubts about Mark and the fact that everybody still knew too little about his secretive past.
