Kate’s brother, Oliver Hudson have both made statements that they have attempted making contact with their biological father, Bill Hudson. Sadly, to no avail. While the siblings are also close, they have both tried their best to make things right with their father. Bill Hudson is a musician and unfortunately, he did not have the same intentions which must have been heartbreaking for his children to learn. Luckily, they always had Kurt to fill the space.

Bill’s Saddening Statement
“Happy abandonment day,” was the odd and saddening caption that Oliver Hudson posted along with a childhood photo on Father’s Day back in 2015. While many believed the statement was directed at his father, Bill Hudson later spoke with the Daily Mail and explained that his ex-wife had “poisoned” his children to despise him. He claimed that he tried to keep a relationship with his children after the divorce, although, Goldie made it near impossible once Kurt was on the scene. Unfortunately, the caption was taken as a “last straw for him,” according to Bill.
