Larry Bird and Ervin Johnson might have had some idea that they would eventually be inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame, but at this moment all that they could focus on was what seemed to become a confusing issue on the court. The debate commenced during a 1979 Championship play where Indiana State and Michigan State came head-to-head. This humorous scene, where Johnson points accusingly at the ball, while Bird seems at a loss for words, is one of the most hilarious in NBA history.

November 11, 2011 – San Diego. Few basketball games enjoyed a more awe-inspiring venue than the 2011 bout between Michigan State and North Carolina during that year’s college basketball season. Someone had the bright idea that hosting a basketball game on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson as it anchored itself in sight of the San Diego beaches. A final score of 67-55 to The Tar Heels should have been celebrated by firing the ship’s guns!
